SAF Successes So Far!
The Summer ’09 SAF Model Search is over and it was a
huge success with about 60 women stepping onstage. In the end, three competitors walked
away as first-place winners: Mymuna Nasrin of Quebec and Justine Munro of Ontario in the
Figure Model and Fitness Model categories respectively, and Silvana Salvati of Ontario in
the SAF Elite Championship. You can find full coverage of the Summer ’09 SAF Model

But this event wasn’t our only recent success. Another
high point has been the SAF Fit Camps that SAF Elite superstar Natalie Waples is running.
Our most recent Camp in northern Ontario (Sudbury to be exact) turned out so well that we
have already started planning for the next ones. We’ll be holding at least two more
SAF Camps in 2009, one in Ottawa in late summer and another, probably in Toronto, in the
fall. We hope to expand the SAF Fit Camps across Canada in 2010. Keep watching the SAFCamps.com website for details.
Finally, there’s another kind of success we’re
having that has nothing to do with events or camps: it‘s that we are helping ordinary
women to succeed. We’re constantly meeting women who are getting into better shape
and leading healthier lives because of what they’re learning here. In many ways, this
is our most satisfying achievement because there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing
the positive impact you can have on others, even if they never step on a competitive
stage.
These are only some of the thing we have accomplished so
far. We’re always trying to do better, just like the people who read our articles.
The serious about fitness concept started as a single website, but it’s grown
into something much more, and because of that growth, we’re looking for more areas
that we can successfully expand into. At the same time, we hope to be able to help you
find success too.
