Summer 2008 SAF Model Search –
Changing Lives for the Better!
The Summer 2008 SAF Model Search will take place on June
21. For many who are competing, it’s probably going to be one of the most exciting
days of their lives. For those who emerge as winners, it’s more than likely going to
change their lives for the better!
The reason the SAF Model Search can have this effect is
because, right from the start, our concept was to create events that provide a positive
and inspiring experience for all the women who compete. We take great care that the
competition runs smoothly and professionally, and we ensure that everyone is treated with
the proper respect throughout the entire event. Also, all the contestants get plenty of
stage time, no matter what spot they finish in, and everyone who competes receives a
special gift package from the sponsors.
The winners in the top three places will not only get great
prizes (including cash prizes for the first-place winners), but they will also be
showcased and promoted in SeriousAboutFitness.com, as well as in our network of
SAF-related sites. In turn, this kind of exposure can give them a lot of publicity and
lead to opportunities that they might not otherwise receive. For example, following the
Fall 2007 SAF Model Search, a number of the winners were featured in magazines such as Inside
Fitness and Oxygen. SAF Model Search winners have the chance to become stars.
It’s also important to point out that we don’t
just promote our winners once and move on. We are well aware that this is often the way
other organizations work and it’s something we’ve avoided right from the start.
Instead, each of our top-three finishers becomes part of our SAF Elite and gets invited to
take part in the many projects that we are always working on (videos, camps, etc.), and
they also have the opportunity to move on to even higher levels of competition where they
can receive even better prizes and more exposure opportunities.
This is what will be happening at the Summer 2008 SAF Model
Search. Along with the Open event, where any woman 18 years or older can compete,
we’re also holding our first-ever SAF Elite competition that’s only open to a
limited number of SAF Elite-qualified competitors. The nine women who have been invited to
compete in June have been selected from among our current roster of 16 SAF Elite-qualified
competitors. Becoming part of the SAF Elite offers tremendous advantages for anyone who
wants to move ahead in the women’s fitness industry – all the more reason to
enter the Open competition. There will be more SAF Elite events in the near future.
The SAF Model Search is more than just a great one-day
competition. It’s a positive and inspiring event that is exciting to compete at, fun
to watch, and tremendously rewarding, not just for those who win, but for everyone who
participates. For some, it will also be a life-changing experience that can lead to even
bigger and better things. June 21 is the big day; don’t miss out!
