We’ve Changed, We’ve Grown, but We’re Still as Serious About Fitness as Ever

Regular readers may have noticed a change in our site over the last month. Most noticeably, SeriousAboutFitness.com looks a little different and there are some new options on the tab bar. But there’s more – we’ve also changed from being a resource for competitors to being a resource for all active women. These changes are what I call "evolutionary improvements" to SeriousAboutFitness.com – we kept what we liked, we added things we wanted to have, and we refocused ourselves to be accessible to more women.

Why did we make these changes? Simple. Just as people train and eat right to improve their bodies, we feel the need to constantly improve SeriousAboutFitness.com, too. Consistent improvement, that’s what it’s all about, whether it’s at the gym or on the Internet. Just like you, we want to be better too. Still, some things won’t change – mostly, the core ideals that we started SeriousAboutFitness.com with.

Although the new SeriousAboutFitness.com will have broader appeal for more women, its content will be developed from the same philosophy as before, something we think differentiates us from what I call the "fluff" fitness-type magazines that you see on the magazine racks. What you read in SeriousAboutFitness.com is, and will always be, real. That’s the way we started, and that’s the way we’ll remain.

Take our "Detail" section, for example. Its motto is, "Real Programs, Real Results." The routines in there aren’t written by some desk-jockey filling space in a magazine by pulling some training program out of the air that no one has ever used (believe me, that actually happens in some of the magazines you might have read). In "Detail," you’ll find tried-and-true training programs that really work and that are used by real people. This is stuff you can actually use and expect real results from, which you can’t necessarily say about everything you read in the magazines these days.

As well, the women who are featured in our pages will never be some faceless models who rarely, if ever, train in any kind of serious way. The women you’ll find here, whether it’s on the sides of the main pages or within the articles, are real women who have achieved real results. These women are as serious about their sports as we are about SeriousAboutFitness.com and you are about achieving your goals. What’s more, chances are you’ll learn how these women have achieved their goals right here in our pages. Real results, real people, real information – that’s what SeriousAboutFitness.com is about.

SeriousAboutFitness.com, once for fitness and figure competitors only, is now for every active woman. We hope you enjoy our new look and new content and keep checking back.
